If you were marooned on a desert island what would be your one luxury item you'd bring with you and why?

A bible, so I can meditate on the gospel.

On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being absolutely not and 10 being definitely, how do you feel about pineapple on pizza?

8.

First Acting Job – Last Acting Job?

A play based on slavery; name escapes me now at The Blue Elephant Theatre in Camberwell. And Sweatbox, a Clean break production. Hopefully not the last and things are just on hold for the time being.

What would your Super Power be?

Microscopic hearing.

How do you relax?

Working out, running, yoga, weight lifting.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

Cynthia Erivo.

You are up on stage to collect your best Actor Oscar...You’ve thanked the usual ie Family, Agent, Film crew etc….Who else do you thank?

Ms Vivienne Rochester. My one-time acting coach.

Where were you trained?

RCSSD.

What is your most treasured possession?

A book titled – For colored girls who have ever considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf.

What one piece of advice would you give your younger Acting/Performing self?

Take no prisoners.

 

Please tell us of a career highlight?

Playing a sci-fi captain in an advert for Just Eat. It was my best job to date because it was shot in Poland, so I got to travel abroad as well as it was the easiest gig and best paid gig, I ever did up to date.

Performance role model?

Cynthia Erivo.

 

Do you have a favorite genre of the Performing Arts? Why?

Stage. The adrenaline rush is incomparable to any other genre.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing...Anything you would do differently, career-wise?

I would have gone into acting much sooner and younger.
